Tonanzin, La Madonna, Mother Mary, Our Lady, Holy Mother, Earth Mother & beyond.. By many names she has been called; beneath them all she is the same medicine~ she is the one who births, protects, holds, grieves, & renews.

She is the Mother that holds us when the weight of the world is too much to bear.

She is the Mother that gathers what is lost, what is broken & reminds us of our power to mend~ to rebuild & to trust in the unfolding of life itself.

This marking is to honour & remind you of her medicine. To wear her as the guardian of thresholds ~ of birth & death, of breaking & becoming & every other initiation of Woman, of Mother. She restores the Mother within & without, mending the heart & calling in the remembrance that no matter what she never turns away, always held by the Great Eternal Mother.

A marking that guards the womb & the heart, that walks beside the wearer through all seasons seen & unseen. calling her back ~ again & again ~ to the spaces within that can never be abandoned.
